Job Title: Assistant Manager Quality
Reports to: Manager Quality
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Job Location: Bavla, Ahmedabad (Nodal Pick-up Drop available from Ahmedabad)
Shift: 5 Days + Alternate Saturdays will be working
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Mechanical / B.E- Mechanical
- Years of experience:
- BE Mechanical engineer: Minimum 4 -10 years of relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality Management system
- Create & review the QMS documents Control plan, SOP, Check list as per ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- AAR- QMS – M934 & M1003 - implementation in the plant
- Develop & Implement QAP as per RDSO requirement
- Quality Auditing
- Conduct the Internal / external audits according to ISO 9001:2015, Product audit, Process audit, AAR audit as per standard.
- Manufacturing Process Quality
- Drive Zero defect approach in channel & create the culture for First time right quality
- Implementation of QMS on channel (Control plan, PFMEA, SOP)
- Drive the Scrap/Loss/Rework improvement project though A3 Problem solving /Kaizen/Daily Management tool.
- Drive process capability improvement on channel
- Engineering change management and risk analysis
- Customer Quality
- Represent SKF & factory during customer audits in positive & proactive manner. Review and close the gaps identify during the customer audit & updating of QMS documents as standardization.
- Implementation of customer specific requirement
- Managing customer complaint & drive the 8D problem solving, Including the effectiveness of CAPA and horizontal deployment.
- PPAP – production part approval process
- Drive the Scrap/Loss/Rework improvement project though A3 Problem solving /Kaizen/Daily Management tool.
- Drive process capability improvement on channel
- Engineering change management and risk analysis
- Metrology Lab
- Calibration Management
- Create & review the QMS Documents/ procedure /check list for metrology lab equipment’s.
- Measurement service to channel
Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:
- Knowledge of Quality management system - ISO 9001, Internal auditor
- Understand and proficiently use Quality Techniques (QT) – Zero defect, Process capability, FMEA, MSA, Problem solving, CONQ, ETO Process
- NDT Skill – UT & MPI, Grinding burn
- Six Sigma, A3 Problem Solving
- AAR QMS & Standard Knowledge
- Engineering Change management system knowledge
Desirable Skill:
- Knowledge in product lines of SKF and their applications.
- Proficiency in Project Management & its value to the business processes.
- Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process
- Knowledge of different six sigma methodologies (DMAIC, etc.) and tools; and,
