JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

Job Title:             Plant Controller – Ahmedabad and Haridwar

Reports to:          ISEA Manufacturing Controller and Dotted line – Factory Manager

Role Type:           People Manager

Location:             Ahmedabad (Travel is involved for min. 15%)

Job Responsibilities:

  • To ensure factory costs are accounted rightly in line with the accounting standards and relevant SKF policies. Collaborate with the regional and global finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data and KPIs.
  • Analyze and monitor the financial performance of the business units and provide insights and recommendations to the Factory Manager, ISEA controller and the Management. Partner with the ISEA Controller and Factory Manager to identify and initiate actions that drive profitability.
  • Prepare management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and other defined timelines. Support the MMR, QBR, Forecasting, Business Plan.
  • To participate in business projects together with relevant business partners to drive and manage business performance like cost reduction programs in a full value chain approach.
  • Assist the management team with reinforcement of strategic direction against daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
  • Develop annual business plans compliant with agreed upon business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Responsible for the calculation of standard cost updates according to SKF Policies
  • Carry out the Balance Sheet review and ensure the management of Fixed assets and the working capital.
  • Prepare monthly forecast and weekly pulse updates.
  • Actively identify and participant in all continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • Assist the Engineering Manager and other management team members in preparation of capital investment requests (IRE's) and subsequent Capitalization.
  • Prepare Adhoc analysis and reports as required.

 

Competency Profile

  • CA / CMA with 10-15 years of experience
  • Good knowledge of common financial standards and systems.
  • Experience with business planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proven proactive, innovative, critical, and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare concise financial reviews that drive business decisions.
  • Strong professional written, verbal communications, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills including excel and a solid understanding of ERP systems.
  • Ability to work and facilitate within a team environment.
  • Teamwork, strong and networking skills
  • Showing integrity, professionalism, and courage to challenge in a constructive way.
