Role Title: Supply Chain Planner
Reports to: Head Demand Chain
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Location: Bavla, Ahmedabad
Purpose of the role:
Drive supply chain processes for achieving the excellent customer service across global network from customer to supplier by optimum utilization of channel capacity with optimum inventory and minimum Leadtime for respective channel group.
Responsibilities
- Plan & execute all supply chain planning related work for respective Channel group.
- Propose S&OP of channel group for next level aggregation & decision.
- Maintenance of master data in MAPICS, DOH and OMPS and Central SAP.
- Create item level forecast for all assortment across the network and prepare master production schedule to meet the forecasted demand for external & internal customers within given inventory limits.
- Establish Supply Delivery Conditions, Procedures and Parameter Values through SIM.
- Analysing and monitoring of customer service, Flow KPIs (Prodperf, Supperf & Leadtime) and related improvement actions.
- Run MRP & release purchase & manufacturing orders.
Metrics
- Inventory turnover ratio for channel group.
- Customer service for channel group: Availability Failures & Broken promises
- Performance of Flow and Lean KPIs.
Competencies
- Strong analytical skills like service level analysis, demand forecasting.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both in Hindi and English (oral & written)
- Strong Supply Chain process knowledge
- Planning Tools & Systems: Distribution planning
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor of engineering Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering
- 5+ years of experience in the relevant field.
- Certification in CPIM is preferable.
