Factory Digital Transformation Specialist

- Automotive Business

 

 

The objective of our Global Manufacturing Digitalization Team is to support and transform our factories by enabling value creation through fit‑for‑purpose, competitive, and reliable digital solutions. We believe success comes from seeing process standardization, organizational development, and digital technologies as a unified ecosystem, leveraging AI, BI, and advanced analytics tools to drive sustainable improvement.

   
Key responsibilities

  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of manufacturing processes with a focus on identifying inefficiencies, variability sources, and optimization opportunities through AI‑powered tools, predictive analytics, and process mining.
  • Ensure strong knowledge and application of industrial data standards, models, and lifecycle concepts to secure high‑quality, scalable data foundations.
  • Contribute to building a robust industrial data backbone, from shop floor to data lake, enabling analytics, AI use cases, and advanced industrial applications.
  • Lead hands‑on deployment of advanced analytics and AI use cases (e.g. visual inspection, process analytics) aligned with global standards.
  • Act as the link between manufacturing, IT, data teams, and suppliers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Promote and drive adoption of data‑driven ways of working, facilitating training, coaching, and change‑management initiatives across the organization.

 

Requirements

  • BBA/BSc/BEng Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronical Engineering, Economical Engineering, Business Administration or similar
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally combined with hands‑on operational experience.
  • Experience from deployment of digital solutions in manufacturing
  • Familiarity with MES, SCADA, IIoT, BI platforms and AI/ML, Copilot Studio, Microsoft O365 ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
