Key Account Manager Europe
Stellantis & Ferrari - Automotive Business
The Automotive Business is responsible for Automotive applications with a global responsibility for Sales, Manufacturing, Business Development, Product and Process Development. The Automotive Business operates in a wide range of countries and markets, all over the world and with a customer portfolio that includes all major OEM in the Automotive Industry.
Our business is fully customer-centered, with products specifically designed for Automotive applications. Complex product design, with very high standards of quality and traceability requirements, is the peculiarity of our Business Lines.
As a “Key Account Manager for Europe” you will be part of a global team handling one of the 5 biggest OEM in the world and a top 3 customer for SKF Automotive. Your role is to grow our business with all Stellantis’ brands in Europe (former “FCA” and “PSA” groups), and the Ferrari account, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and bringing new opportunities to fulfill targets and support Business Lines strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Portfolio Management: Responsible for total account management, “from cradle to grave” on project lifecycle, including but not limited to opportunities hunting, quotation and price negotiations, contract alignment and agreement, launch support, sales forecast, supply planning, delivery, order handling and payment to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Business Profitability & Cost Management: Develop a deep understanding of SKF’s cost structure to support strategic decisions that improve business profitability. Collaborate with Business Line teams to ensure profitable growth, effective pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
- Performance Monitoring & Forecasting: Monitor KPIs and profitability results across business portfolio, providing actionable insights to management to support strategic planning and accurate forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Maintain continuous communication with key internal stakeholders (BD, AE, PMO) to ensure timely completion of project milestones within the Engineer-to-Order (ETO) process.
- Collaborative Sales Approach: Work closely with other sales teams, manufacturing units, and support functions across different regions and countries to align on goals and deliver consistent value to customers.
- Market Intelligence & Opportunity Development: Gather and analyze market data on the Tiers and Two-Wheelers segment to identify new business opportunities, understand customer development needs, and build long-term partnerships.
Requirement
- Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field and a few years of experience in Sales/Account
- High-level technical skill set in bearing products.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in French will be meritorious
- Project management skills with the ability to coordinate customer initiatives on a global scale and consistently deliver results within established deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Power BI, SAP, C4C, and S&OP to efficiently manage customer activities and monitor key business performance indicators.
- Clear communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to connect across all organizational levels and encourage collaboration between departments and functions

This position is located at Airasca, Italy and local contract will be applied.
