Automotive Procurement and Supply Chain Controller

Are you a data-driven strategist who thrives in the fast-paced world of Procurement and Supply chain?
Key responsibilities
- Cost Management & Analysis: Monitor and analyze global spending, procurement cost, warehousing costs, and customs duties. Identify variances between actual spend and budget / forecasts.
- Global Spend Visibility: Consolidate and analyze spend data from various entities to identify synergy opportunities and negotiation leverage.
- KPI Development: Define and monitor global KPIs (Actual vs. Budget, Price Variance, Cost Avoidance, and Net Savings). Establish and track performance KPIs.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the annual budget process and periodical forecasting, ensuring alignment between Operational initiatives and Group financial targets.
- Process Optimization: Audit end-to-end processes to eliminate bottlenecks, standardize and digitalize processes and implement Lean methodologies.
- Business Partnering: Act as the financial lead for "Make vs. Buy" decisions, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling, and supplier risk assessments
- Vendor Management: Partner with procurement to evaluate suppliers, ensuring contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Systems & Innovation: Drive the optimization of processes and the implementation of advanced digital tools for real-time spend analytics.
- Reporting: Prepare periodical financial reports and present actionable insights to the leadership.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Finance.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in operational controlling preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in S4HANA and advanced Excel. Experience with Power BI is a major plus.
- Fluency in English is required (working in a multinational environment); additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across all levels and towards different cultures
- A "challenger" mindset—the ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide critical feedback based on data. Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills, and aptitude for problem-solving.
