working within the Ball & Special Bearing Application specific offer for Agriculture, Food & Beverage and Drives

Key responsibility 

Being part of the PD&E Team, you will participate proactively in different new projects in Industrial EMEA and in the SKF focus industries Agriculture, Food&Beverage and Drives. 

You will also contribute with development solutions and leading Product Development Process activities, being able to transfer this activity into rules and drawings.

You will be the interface with and provides application assistance to the Application Engineering Team and Customers by interacting with them; you will be the point of contact for Customers and Industry Leaders and in charge to understand their needs and viewpoints.

You will handle high quality relationships with colleagues and internal/external stakeholders.

Main requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• High ability to translate the needs of the market in technical features.
• Good problem solving skills and proactivity in looking new ways of working and thinking.
• High understanding of basic engineering principles, bearings & rotating systems.
• High understanding of technical drawing rules and principles; additional knowledges in different applications will be considered as plus.
• Very good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills:
• Proficiency in Italian and in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windchill, CREO Parametric;  ANSYS or other equivalent FEM tools will be considered as a beneficial asset:
• Open to travel if needed.

Some additional information

The location for this position is Airasca (Italy), on local contract. You will report to the Manager of Application Specific Engineering Agri, F&B and Drives, who is located in Airasca.
