Within this transformation, our Motorsport & Supercar Racing Unit plays a unique strategic role. We partner with the world’s most iconic racing teams - Scuderia Ferrari (celebrating 80 years of partnership in 2027, the longest uninterrupted in Formula 1 history), Ducati Corse, NASCAR, Formula Student and more. Racing & OE MarCom Manager – Automotive Business


 
This position will sit inside the Motorsport business unit, reporting directly to the Head of Motorsport, supporting a global team of Key Account Managers, Application & Design Engineers, Innovation, Business Development, and Manufacturing experts. 


   
Key responsibilities 

 

1. Motorsport Communication & Brand Storytelling

  • Translate advanced engineering work from racing programs into clear messages for multiple audiences (technical, educational, B2B, fans, next-generation talents).
  • Collaborate with engineers, technical leaders, and partner teams to develop case studies, interviews, and technical features.

 

2. Sponsorship Activation & Rights Management

  • Maximize the value of existing contracts with Ferrari, Ducati, NASCAR, etc., ensuring full activation of all marketing and communication rights.
  • Manage budgets, ROI analysis, and strategic proposals to enhance the impact of racing partnerships.
  • Serve as day-to-day operational interface with Scuderia Ferrari, Ducati Corse and other partners for marketing rights and paddock-related activities.

 

3. Paddock Management (Formula 1, MotoGP and more)

  • Oversee the allocation and management of paddock passes, coordinate exclusive customer experiences, and liaise with trackside teams across global motorsport events

 

4. Events, Fairs & Global Commercial Support

  • Organize and attend events such as PMW Cologne, PRI Indianapolis, and emerging market fairs.
  • Design booths, coordinate logistics, display products with engineers, and engage with clients.
  • Provide analysis and proposals for new opportunities, regions, and segments 

 

5. Digital Content & Social Media

  • Create compelling digital content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
  • Ensure alignment with global brand strategy during the launch of the new SKF Vertevo brand.

 

6. Merchandising & Apparel

  • Develop motorsport-oriented Vertevo-branded merchandise.
  • Manage team clothing and accessories for worldwide paddock activities, ensuring visibility, credibility, and alignment with TV exposure and partner expectations.
     

7. Unified Racing & OE Communication Strategy

  • Develop and execute a combined MarCom strategy that uses Motorsport as a credibility platform to elevate the SKF Vertevo brand across both Racing and OE channels.
  • Shape a strong, coherent narrative that explains how racing technologies translate into innovation, sustainability, reliability, and performance for OEM customers.


 

Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Communication, Business, or related fields.
  • Proven professional experience in Motorsport marketing/communication, sponsorship activation, or high-level events.
  • Strong understanding of Motorsport ecosystems, paddock dynamics, and tech-to-market storytelling.
  • Experience producing digital content for modern platforms
  • Strong project management skills, analytical mindset, and ROI-driven approach.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Prior experience working directly with OEMs, racing teams, or technical sponsors and Experience with UK, US and/or Chinese motorsport markets would be a plus

Some additional information 

 

This position will be located anywhere within the EMEA region (England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany or Sweden. 

You might manage junior resources/interns. 

Note that this position requires travel availability (global racing calendar).
