About Technology Development
The TD team for ISEA is focused on Customer Product development & Engineering, Innovation for the region, rollout of new technologies for the region, testing, Failure Investigation, scaleup from POC to series production, Portfolio Management etc.

- Product Development & Engineering – This division brings out conceptual/detailed designs to support BOH/ETO activities based on customer specifications. Technology trends like digitization of workflows, e- Aviation, Sensorization, Product localization, Design automation, Agile, DFX and Model based designs, (MBDs) have increased the operational efficiency and application productivity. What our customer gain from this is efficient digital data exchange, traceability and flexibility in design changes, reduced carbon footprint and higher performance products.
- Testing: Group Testing Services is a trusted partner in design, process and supplier validation. The testing team ensures greater focus on customer requirements, quality and operational efficiency. JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Domain Architect
Reports To: Architecture Manager
Role Type: Architect
Location: Bangalore
Role Purpose:
As such, you will have a holistic understanding of the cloud domain and work to create an efficient community within it. You will communicate overlaps and dependencies with all stakeholders and work with other architects to design solutions. With a mix of technical and business skills, you will help set the target state for the cloud domain.
Key responsibilities and day to day tasks
- Assess the current digital landscape and architecture
- Collaborate with different areas to define solutions
- Drive the architect community within the domain
- Assess the impact of technical choices
- Research and propose changes to technologies
- Investigate frameworks and tech-stacks
- Describe application modules and interactions
- Consider scalability, maintenance, and security
- Assess risks in third-party frameworks
- Provide guidance and tools to development teams
- Work to enable synergies across the domain
- Define frameworks, processes, and governance structures
- Represent the domain in enterprise architect discussions
You will connect with colleagues and the leadership team to plan tasks, participate in project meetings, and attend demos.
Meritorious
- Knowledge and/or experience in microservices architecture
- Experience from different industries (automotive, heavy industries or others)
- Experience of working with digital transformation in a global company

Candidate Profile:
- +2 years of proven leadership capabilities with strong ability to engage and motivate others and build high performing teams, networks, and communities
- +4 years of solid experience from complex enterprise architectures including data mgmt., connectivity solutions, embedded systems, and other business relative systems
- +6 years hands-on experience in developing software products using cloud technology
- +8 years well proven experience of current IT technologies including cloud (Azure & AWS preferred), agile, DevOps
- University degree, preferably computer science or related field
- Self-driven and ease at dealing with ambiguity in work situations
- Experience in defining solutions to business needs
- Fluency in English, other language skills are meriting
- Available within the CET time zone
- Open to travel if needed for specific activities
