JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title:   Manager- Talent Management and Leadership Development

Reports To:       Head Talent Management, Leadership Development and Culture ISEAM

Location:           Bangalore/Pune

 

Purpose of the role

 

As an expert in talent management and leadership development, you will be involved in generating and promoting new concepts and methodologies to ensure strong talent management practices are followed by the organization. You will provide consultation to HR Business Partners and leaders on operational plans with direct impact on results and influence business decisions.



Responsibilities:

  • Talent Management Governance:
  • Support the organization with a change management approach for new processes, methods and tools as well as capability building of HR Business Partners in the region. Be responsible for external benchmarking and market trend watch in talent & leadership domain.
  • Own the talent planning & governance processes including measurement, and reporting.
  • Identify linkages between talent management and business strategy and build these into operational plans and actions.

 

  • Operational Excellence:
  • Embrace and contribute to best practices in talent management.
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative talent management programs to strengthen leadership bench strength. Partnering closely with HRBPs to execute strategic talent actions.
  • Onboarding Managers on talent management processes, governance, and key metrics.
  • Evaluate outcomes of talent management processes within your area or function.
  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning and development planning- governance and execution
  • Designing Talent Management Initiatives:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver learning and development initiatives.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify skill gaps and tailor talent development programs accordingly.
  • The person will drive local leadership development, based on Global, Local and personal directions and guidance.
  • Research on and bring to SKF in collaboration with IT intuitive and simple digital solutions for Talent Management.

Education & Experience

  • A master’s degree in human resources, Business, Psychology, Management, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of Experience in Talent Management, HRBP
  • Proven track record in talent development, talent management.
  • Experience in leadership development, change management, and talent program management.
  • Familiarity with organizational development or learning and development is a plus.
