The TD team for ISEA is focused on Customer Product development & Engineering, Innovation for the region, rollout of new technologies for the region, testing, Failure Investigation, scaleup from POC to series production, Portfolio Management etc.

- Product Development & Engineering – This division brings out conceptual/detailed designs to support BOH/ETO activities based on customer specifications. Technology trends like digitization of workflows, e- Aviation, Sensorization, Product localization, Design automation, Agile, DFX and Model based designs, (MBDs) have increased the operational efficiency and application productivity. What our customer gain from this is efficient digital data exchange, traceability and flexibility in design changes, reduced carbon footprint and higher performance products.
- Testing: Group Testing Services is a trusted partner in design, process and supplier validation. The testing team ensures greater focus on customer requirements, quality and operational efficiency. JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Metallurgist
Reports To: Manager - Metallurgy
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Location: Bangalore
Role Purpose:
- Performing metallurgical testing as per customer requirement.
- Communicating and coordinating with stake holders.
- To ensure that equipment's are periodically calibrated.
- To ensure that equipment's undergo timely preventive maintenance.
- To ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the Lab.
- To ensure adherence to safety & EHS requirements.
- Participate and prepare for the Quality and EHS audits.
- coordinating with service providers – suppliers, purchase etc.
- Raise Purchase Requests as per the requirements
- Conduct supplier alignments
Competencies:
Functional
- Should be capable of doing sample preparation independently
- Should be well conversant with metallographic testing of Microstructures like Martensite, Bainite, Ferrite and Pearlite
- Should have knowledge on surface hardening heat treatments like Carbo-Nitriding, Carburizing , Nitrocarburizing
- Should have hands on experience with equipment’s like Hardness Tester, OES, CS Analyzer and Gas analyzer
- Should be familiar with steel cleanliness -Inclusion ratings
- Should have knowledge of NDT (preferably Ultrasonic Testing)
Managerial /Leadership
- Effective communication
