About Technology Development
The TD team for ISEA is focused on Customer Product development & Engineering, Innovation for the region, rollout of new technologies for the region, testing, Failure Investigation, scaleup from POC to series production,Portfolio Management etc.

- Product Development & Engineering – This division brings out conceptual/detailed designs to support BOH/ETO activities based on customer specifications. Technology trends like digitization of workflows, e- Aviation, Sensorization, Product localization, Design automation, Agile, DFX and Model based designs, (MBDs) have increased the operational efficiency and application productivity. What our customer gain from this is efficient digital data exchange, traceability and flexibility in design changes, reduced carbon footprint and higher performance products.
- Testing: Group Testing Services is a trusted partner in design, process and supplier validation. The testing team ensures greater focus on customer requirements, quality and operational efficiency. This entails greater support for SKF’s processes in a faster manner by applying global test standards, adapted to local customer specific requirements.
- Global Metallurgy & Chemistry Laboratory (GMC)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: People Business Enabler & Facility Management of TD & GTCI
Reports To: Director, Technology Development ISEA
Role Type: Team Management
Location: Bangalore
Role Purpose:
As a People Business Enabler for businesses (TD), enable leadership & support to drive the HR strategy and ensure seamless and consistent employee experience on HR practices & process.The role is also to enable Global Technical Centre, India (GTCI) develop an R&D, Product development environment & engagement being part of Group CTO activities in India by supporting the GTCI Director on the same.
Key Responsibilities
Talent and Leadership

- Support Talent development by focusing on Organizational Capacity, capability, Individual needs and core competence
- Partner with various stakeholders to ensure timely hiring against vacancies
- Critically evaluate external talent to ensure the right hire – cultural evaluation, potential evaluation and the “right fit for SKF”
- Strong succession pipeline leadership & critical positions
- Develop and deploy the competency framework for creating a future-ready workforce
- Drive the internship/university connects for TD & build connections with universities

- Planning and delivery of all facility related and administrative support services and activities at the site/s on a day-to-day basis.
- Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of service and cost effectiveness.
- Support Statutory compliance in both manpower & facilities are maintained
- Innovate, suggest and implement ideas on facility improvements.
- Support events, conferences/ trainings are organized & managed it all.
- Interaction with Cross functional department for better coordination and for carrying out smooth operations on site and for quick delivery to internal clients.

Candidate Profile:

- Post-Graduation in Human Resource Management /MBA
- 15+ years of experience in HR with good brand/brands
- Should have worked in GCC/Tech centers for at least 5 years in that environment
