JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:          Platform Owner – OT Network Services

Reports To:     Head – Infrastructure
Role Type:        Individual Contributor

Location:         Bangalore or Pune

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

SKF is seeking a Platform Owner for complete suite of Architecture and operations for Operations Technology Network. The Platform Owner OT would work across the SKF Factories to build digital products, platforms, and solutions that drive the greatest value and align with our business priorities. This involves overseeing day-to-day operations, providing user support, maintaining a robust OT Network Infrastructure posture, and guiding the strategic direction of technology architecture. This role will have responsibility for all aspects of OT Technology support of Network Security, Cloud Network Security, Software-defined WAN, LAN, Wireless and Zero Trust Network Security Architecture.

Platform Ownership
1. Own and manage OT network architecture, design, and standards.
2. Develop and implement OT network roadmaps, aligning with business objectives.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize platform requirements.

OT Network Operations
1. Ensure OT network availability, performance, and security.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot OT network issues, resolving or escalating as needed.
3. Implement network changes, updates, and patches.

Security and Compliance
1. Implement and maintain OT network security controls and protocols.
2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., NERC CIP, IEC 62443).
3. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address OT network security risks.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
1. Work closely with IT Platform Owners, Regional IT Teams and Shop Floor Business OT teams.
2. Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders (Business Leads).
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners and improve their performance.

Technical Requirements

1. Overall 15+ years of working experience in Technology
2. 5+ years of experience in OT network design, implementation, and management.
3. 5+ years of experience in managing Shop floor network operations
4. Strong knowledge of:

- OT protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).

- Network architectures (e.g., LAN, WAN, wireless).

- Network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs).

- Industry-specific regulations (e.g., NERC CIP).

- NAT Solution, 3rd Party VPN Solution

- Zero Trust Solution

Education

Degree or Masters in any stream

Certifications
1. CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.

2. Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.

3. IEC 62443 or NERC CIP certification (desirable).
