JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Project Engineer - Costing and Feasibility Study
Reports To: Head of Services - ISEA
Role Type: Individual Contribution
Location: Pune / Kolkata / Mumbai / Gurgaon / Bangalore
Job Responsibilities
Pre-Costing & Budgeting : Develop rough-order-of-magnitude (ROM) and conceptual capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) estimates.
Technical Evaluation : Assess site conditions, technology options, and infrastructure capacity to ensure design constructability.
Risk & Compliance Mapping : Identify engineering bottlenecks, regulatory constraints, and local zoning laws.
Financial Modeling: Support the creation of cash flow projections, return on investment (ROI) forecasts, and break-even points.
Support Sales : Coordinate with service sales teams in ISEAM to ensure proposal preparation are ready for submission on-time.
Administrative Management
Prepare pre costing and feasibility study for Projects / Large Projects
Handle documentation, reports, and correspondence related to service operations.
Managing customer master data, including customer records, contact information
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, demonstrating strong teamwork and relationship-building in alignment with SKF’s core values.
Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and customer documentation as needed.
Assist in internal and external audits related to operations and administration.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or related field.
5-7 years of experience in project management (preferably in manufacturing industries such as Oil and Gas, Energy, Heavy Industry)
Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP or CRM systems
Experience working with ServiceMax and SAP Sales & Distribution modules will be advantageous.
Strong analytical and service mindset and attention to detail.
