IT Finance & Controlling Process Expert

About the Role:
The SKF Lubrication Lifetime Solutions Business Unit is on the journey to build its global End to End Digital Backbone - anchored by the Global Lubrication SAP system. 
As our Finance & Controlling Process Expert you will play a key role to implement and further develop our SAP based global Finance and Controlling Processes.  
We are looking for a knowledgeable IT Finance & Controlling Process professional who is well-versed in SAP to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing our financial and controlling processes within the SAP environment. This role requires a deep understanding of finance and controlling modules, as well as the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Process Design and Process Alignment in the Finance & Controlling Area
• Translate Business Requirements for Finance and Controlling into IT (SAP) demands
• Financial Validation of SAP Business Flows
• Ensure and Coordinate Testing in SAP and interfaced systems, sign off UATs from Finance & Controlling Perspective
• Lead and work in SAP finance and controlling projects, including implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with global teams, especially in finance and controlling (e. g. Finance Operations Centers, Tax & Legal, Group Finance) and with the SAP Team in Lubrication
• Ensure standards, documentation and knowledge transfer from a global perspective for the entire SKF Lubrication Lifetime Solutions Business Unit.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling or Accountant 
• Solid Background in Finance, Accounting and Controlling, SAP Finance and Controlling Processes:
• Good knowledge in SAP (O2C, P2P, R2R, Account Determination), Tax Requirements, Payment Processes, Period End Closing, Reconciliation, Product Costing, Stock Valuation, Finance Master Data, Result and Profitability Analysis
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Experienced Project Work and collaboration ability
• Proficient analytical skills
• Good in communication
• Flexible approach to work

It is also a great advantage if you have

• In addition to your SAP knowledge experience with interfaced systems and platforms (BPC, SnowFlake, Nomentia …)
• Experience with transition from ECC to S4 HANA

Some additional information 
This position will be located preferably in Walldorf or Berlin (Germany), Chodov (Czech Republic), or Bangalore/Pune (India), or other major SKF Lubrication sites.

   
You will report to the IT Manager, who is located in Walldorf, Germany.
