Overview

The Business Controller Leader is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and providing strategic insights to support decision‑making. This role serves as a key partner to senior management, balancing financial control with business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Monitor business performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate investments, projects, and business opportunities.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency.

  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Manage and mentor the controlling team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in business controlling, financial analysis, or corporate finance leadership.

  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, reporting tools, and ERP platforms.

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus for regional collaboration.
