Key Account Manager – Heavy Industries 

Location: Casablanca, Morocco  
Employment Type: Full-time 
 

 

What you can expect in this role 

We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused Key Account Manager to lead our commercial efforts in the Heavy Industries sector across Morocco and Mauritania. As a member of the North and West Africa Sales Team, covering nearly 25 countries, you will be responsible for managing key accounts across countries, driving high-value customer projects, and delivering tailored, value-added solutions that meet evolving market demands. 

You will join a global organization and collaborate with teams spread worldwide, dedicated to fight friction through our technologies and services to ensure seamless operations for our customers.  

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Plan and implement sales activities to achieve and exceed defined targets. 
  • Align sales efforts with regional strategies and business goals. 
  • Manage the full customer lifecycle: sales forecasting, supply planning, order handling, delivery coordination, and payment follow-up. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and profitability through proactive account management. 
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs, build and strengthen long-term commercial and technical relationships. 
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new business opportunities. 
  • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness and profitability. 
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, monthly forecasting, and process optimization. 
  • Support promotional campaigns and strategic planning. 

 

What we expect for this position 

  • Proven experience in account management or industrial sales, preferably in heavy industries. 
  • Self-motivated and execution focused with an ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. 
  • Must be willing to travel frequently as it is mandatory to visit customers regularly to build customer relationship and trust. 
  • Good planning and problem solving skills; 
  • Ability to manage projects and deliver results across multiple markets. 
  • Good learning ability, curiosity and willingness to develop further.  
  • Fluent in Arabic, French and English.
