Electronics Development & Support Engineer 

 

 

We’re looking for a pragmatic and solution-focused engineer to join our Electronics & Connected Solutions team. In this role, you will design and develop electronic hardware for our lubrication systems while also acting as the first-level technical expert for electronics-related topics across the product lifecycle.

 

You will play a key role in ensuring that our products are not only well designed, but also robust, maintainable, and fully supported in the field, working closely with R&D, product management, quality, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams. 

 

Key responsibilities

 

Technical Support & Sustain Engineering (60%)

  • Provide first-line technical support for electronics topics by reviewing field issues, failures, and warranty claims, determining root causes, and collaborating with development teams on fixes and corrective measures
  • Support customer-facing teams (sales, service) in resolving technical questions and issues and support production and industrialization teams in troubleshooting electronics-related problems
  • Contribute to sustain engineering activities, ensuring long-term product reliability and maintainability

 

Hardware development (40%)

  • Design, develop, and improve electronic hardware (controllers, sensors, modules) from concept to series production
  • Integrate electronic components into lubrication systems and optimize existing designs for performance and reliability
  • Plan and execute validation tests, and support documentation and industrialization

 

 

We expect you to have/be

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering or related technical field
  • Solid experience in electronic hardware development, preferably in industrial or automation environments
  • Experience with hardware integration, testing, and compliance with industry standards
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with fluency in English

 

It’s considered meritorious if you also bring:

  • Experience in technical support, sustain engineering, or field issue resolution
  • Exposure to production environments and troubleshooting processes
  • Experience working with external partners and certification institutions.
  • Basic knowledge with embedded software development and IOT

Some additional information

This position will be located in Chodov, Czech republic. Local contract.

 

This role may involve occasional business travel to support cross-site collaboration, product testing or support. While not frequent, travel flexibility is expected when needed.
