Our business unit supports the SKF organization and our customers with solutions for reliable lubrication and consists of two main Business Lines: Automatic Lubrication Systems (ALS) and Manual Lubrication Systems (MLS), complemented with RecondOil and MPT. Lubrication Business Unit entails ~2000 employees across the world, and 8 manufacturing sites spread over 6 countries.

Finance & Controlling Manager – Lubrication Lifetime Solutions
Chodov – Czech Republic

 As a key member of the local Management Team in Chodov, you will lead financial operations and drive strategic decision-making. 

What you can expect in the role 
•    Optimization and strengthening of the financial team, built up controlling processes to ensure transparency and efficient reporting
•    Responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and CZ statutory reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with Group accounting standards
•    Driving the improvement of existing and the implementation of new reporting and controlling tools
•    Responsible for carrying out actual vs plan comparisons and deviation analyses
•    Creation of business plans, forecasts, and long-term planning
•    Carrying out profitability and cash flow analyses and creating business cases for strategic projects and investments
•    Support on Standard Cost Calculation
•    Close cooperation with management and functional managers in all controlling and accounting topics, as well as with our Shared Service Finance Center and Group Finance

What we expect you to have/be
•    University degree in business administration with a focus on finance, controller, or accountant, or a comparable qualification
•    Several years of relevant professional experience in finance and controlling in a manufacturing company, ideally in a management position
•    Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control 
•    In-depth knowledge of the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
•    Proficiency in financial software (e.g. SAP, Excel, business intelligence tools)
•    Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach 
•    Excellent communication skills – able to simplify complex financial topics
•    Fluent Czech and English skills (fluency in German is a plus)
