Ready to shape how demand planning works globally?

Do you enjoy designing end-to-end processes rather than running daily operations? Are you motivated by creating clarity, consistency, and scalable ways of working across regions? Do you want to build an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / S&OP operating rhythm from the ground up and shape how data, systems, and people come together to enable better decisions?

Then you could be our next...

Global Demand & Integrated Business Planning Lead

SKF Lubrication Lifetime Solutions BU is enhancing its Demand Chain Center of Excellence (CoE), and we are now looking for a Global Demand & Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process Lead. In this role, you will be the strategic owner and facilitator of Demand Planning and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and global demand planning governance.

This is a global role with significant  strategic and business impact. You will design, implement, and embed an effective IBP/S&OP process - starting from Step 0 maturity - integrating demand, supply, portfolio, and financial planning to enable effective decision-making and alignment with business strategy.

What you can expect in the role:

As Global Demand & Integrated Business Planning Lead, you will:

  • Own the design and global implementation of IBP, taking it from zero maturity to a fully functional, Class A capable process.
  • Define global IBP standards, governance, and integration points across demand, supply, portfolio, and financial planning.
  • Develop and execute a phased roadmap for IBP maturity, including change management and capability building.
  • Own and run key IBP forums including Integrated Reconciliation (IR) and Management Business Review (MBR).
  • Prepare decision-support materials, KPIs, and scenario insights to enable timely, effective business decisions. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor IBP effectiveness and maturity progress.
  • Document end-to-end IBP workflows, including IR, MBR, and functional reviews. Define & maintain global IBP process standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive alignment between demand, supply, financial and strategic plans across regions and business units.
  • Develop and oversee global demand planning processes and standards and ensure tight integration into the IBP process.
  • Define and monitor global KPIs for forecast accuracy, bias, and adherence, partnering with regional teams to ensure high-quality demand plans.
  • Establish standardized processes across regions and business units and oversee improvements to enhance efficiency and integration.
  • Develop training programs, playbooks, and best-practice guidelines for IBP and demand planning; facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing forums globally.
  • Act as a change agent, embedding IBP as the standard way of managing the business across diverse geographies.
  • Partner with IT on system enablement and tool integration (e.g., SAP IBP, OMP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder or similar).

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Ample years of experience and a background in designing, implementing, and embedding IBP/S&OP and Demand Planning processes. Experience from a global, process focused, or center of excellence role is highly desirable.
  • Well-developed skillsin process design and deployment within complex, global organizations; able to design and optimize end-to-end workflows.
  • Experience with ERP Systems (e.g. SAP, JDE) and advanced planning systems (APS) / IBP platforms such as SAP IBP, OMP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder (or similar).
  • Sound commercial and strategic acumen; able to interpret complex data and translate into decisions.
  • Skilled at persuading senior leaders, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and managing change within complex global organizations, with experience collaborating across cultures and time zones.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with additional language skills considered beneficial. APICS CPIM, CSCP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred/considered meritorious.

SKF is committed to creating a diverse environment, and we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is essential for our continued success. Therefore, we only focus on your experience, skills, and potential. Come as you are – just be yourself. #weareSKF

You will enjoy working here if you:

  • Are a hands-on builder who likes to roll up your sleeves - diving into the details of process design, data, governance, and training materials to make things work in practice, not just in theory.
  • Like combining structure and pragmatism to solve complex business problems
  • Enjoy working at the intersection of process, systems, and people
  • Are motivated by creating clarity, alignment, and scalable solutions

Our offer
This position spans the globe and carries significant strategic responsibility, offering the opportunity to design IBP from its inception and set the course for business management via a standardized, decision-led planning rhythm - working in a cooperative, cross-border environment with ample growth potential.
