Product Manager – Intelligent Lubrication Solutions
We are looking for a forward-looking Product Manager to drive the development of Intelligent Lubrication Solutions. Building on SKF’s established position in automatic lubrication, you will move innovation initiatives forward, focused on creating measurable value for customers, and shape how new technologies evolve automatic lubrication towards intelligent, condition-driven and connected systems.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will direct the journey from problem -> solution -> value realization, shaping the technical offering with Product Development to define go-to-market strategies for Intelligent Lubrication Solutions. Furthermore, you will:
- Contribute in defining the product roadmap for Innovation & Connected Solutions, ensuring emerging technologies are leveraged to deliver impactful and differentiated lubrication solutions.
- Work with Sales and customers to identify opportunities to create customer value through connectivity and AI, and translate these into scalable product and service solutions.
- Identify customer challenges, translate them into scalable products and services, and bring solutions to market that deliver measurable business value.
- Provide Technology- and Market insights by researching and assessing competitors, market trends, and emerging technologies in lubrication, connectivity, sensing technologies, and applied AI/ML.
- Conduct customer value validation by piloting activities for the new Intelligent Lubrication solutions to validate customer value and technical feasibility.
- Build strong internal and external networks to combine capabilities and develop integrated solutions to identified customer needs, and evaluate external partners, technology providers, and collaboration opportunities to accelerate innovation.
Key Requirements
- A university degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field, with previous work experience in product management, innovation management, or business development.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage stakeholders, with experience working in early-stage or uncertain innovation settings and alongside cross-functional teams across regions.
- Experience with connected products, digital solutions, AI/ML, sensing technologies, data-driven services, and related applications in industrial settings.
- Experience working with external partners, research institutions, start-ups, or technology providers.
- It’s a plus if you also bring knowledge of lubrication systems, industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, or condition monitoring
- As this is a global role, fluency in English and solid communication skills are required.

Some additional information
This is a global position, preferably located in Europe on one of our major SKF/Lubrication site in Houten (Netherlands), Walldorf or Berlin (Germany), Chodov (Czech Republic) or Saint-Cyr (France). Occasional travel may be expected to support workshops, pilot activities and cross-site collaboration.
