Oil is the world’s most important raw materials. It is used as lubricant in virtually all industrial processes. Oil is also a source to ongoing pollution and climate change. There are many reasons why this valuable resource needs to be better used - in a circular way. RecondOil has the ambition to create and spread a sustainable use of oil. Combining advanced separation technologies (chemical and mechanical) from different fields, to create a technology platform (DST) that allows a lubricating oil to be cleaned down to nano sized particles and regenerated with the additives still intact. The oil can be used again, creating a truly circular economy – cutting carbon footprint, creating new business models and having a positive impact on the environment.

Account Manager

SKF RecondOil

 

 

In the role as Account Manager, you will provide application and subject matter expertise as well as contributing to the sales and capability development in close collaboration with SKF key account managers. You will be a part of a team tasked with scaling the business of Circular Use of Oil and improved lubrication practices by introducing RecondOil value proposition to the market. 

 

Bottom line – you will be the technical and application expert in customer meetings; both with existing SKF accounts and when building new businesses / partnerships. You will network and interact with some of the largest industrial companies in your region

 

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities

 

  • Provide application and subject-matter knowledge within industrial lubrication and oil technologies
  • Coach, train and support the regional SKF sales and technical teams 
  • Join customer meetings to facilitate the technical discussion, understand customer needs and promote Oil as a Service
  • Conduct solution presentations / demonstrations and present SKF RecondOil to the market 
  • Develop and nurture lasting connections with stakeholders throughout customer organizations

 

This role includes extensive travelling within Finland.

 

We expect you to have/be…

  

  • Relevant post‑secondary technical education. A degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience) is preferred
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of the application of industrial lubricants, fluid management and/or oil filtration solutions (including local industries, known challenges, standards and procedures).
  • Subject matter knowledge from one or several key applications for related technologies
  • Experience in selling solution with added value
  • Practical experience working directly in operational environments
  • Capable to translate technical benefits in unique selling points
  • Sales experience to industrial end users (introducing new oil blends, products or brands to customers)
  • Effective communication in Finnish and English, verbal and written, is a prerequisite

Additional information
 

We would prefer it if you were located somewhere within commuting distance to one of our many SKF sites around Finland, but this is not a requirement. 

 

In this role you will report to who Roberto Di Rocco, Sales Manager RecondOil Europe, located in Italy. You will be part of a diverse team of 8 engaged and collaborative team members. You will have engaged colleagues to collaborate within the Nordic team, within different functions.
