Are you passionate about optimising engineering processes and driving innovation? As an Automation Engineer at SKF, you'll be at the forefront of transforming workflows, ensuring seamless data integration across various tools and platforms. Your expertise will help us achieve unparalleled efficiency and precision in our engineering endeavors. 
  

Key responsibilities   

  • Innovate and Optimise: Analyse existing processes to uncover automation opportunities that enhance efficiency and reduce errors. 
  • Develop Cutting-Edge Solutions: Design and implement automated systems using the latest technologies. 
  • Seamless Integration: Create robust links between information inputs, consumers, and outputs. 
  • Ensure Excellence: Conduct rigorous testing to guarantee system functionality and swiftly resolve any issues. 
  • Communicate and Collaborate: Clearly articulate project requirements and progress to stakeholders, working closely with engineers and IT teams. 
  • Document and Support: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide top-notch support and training to users. 
  • Lead with Agility: Manage and deploy MVPs using agile methodologies. 

  

Requirements  

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in analysis software (SimPro, ANSYS, Abaqus, BEAST, Romax, Masta) and modeling software (Creo). 
  • Programming Skills: Take strong pride in writing well-documented software. Experience with Python, Matlab, APDL, or similar engineering languages. 
  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in engineering or computer science. 
  • Analytical Ability: Skill in dissecting complex processes into core elements. 
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English with strong communication abilities.
