Business Controller – IT & Digital

SKF is a world-leading supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems, and services. We are looking for an IT & Digital Business Controller to join our IT & Digital leadership team and oversee the financial performance and strategy of our IT and Digital function.

What you can expect in this role
As IT & Digital Business Controller, you will be responsible for managing the IT financial plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives, optimizing IT investments, and providing financial guidance and insights to senior IT executives. You will also collaborate with other Business Controllers across the SKF Group to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial reporting and governance. Furthermore, you will: 

• Manage the IT financial plan and forecast, and ensure alignment with business objectives and IT strategy. 
• Analyze and report on IT financial performance, and provide insights and recommendations to senior IT executives. 
• Optimize IT investments and expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. 
• Establish and maintain IT financial policies, procedures, and controls, and ensure compliance with SKF Group standards and regulations. 
• Collaborate with the finance community across the SKF Group to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial reporting and governance. 
• Support IT projects and initiatives with financial analysis and evaluation. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, auditors, and vendors. 

We expect you to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or equivalent  
• Senior experience in finance and accounting, with solid experience in IT financial management and planning 
• Proven experience in IT operations, processes, and systems 
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Professional fluency in English, with the ability to communicate well in a multicultural and complex global context

Some additional info 
You will report to the Director of Controlling – Group Operations, who is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The position holder should preferably be based in Gothenburg.
