Business Controller Supply Chain & Operations Strategy in Group Operations

As the Business Controller Supply Chain & Operations Strategy, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ensuring alignment with the Group's strategic and financial objectives, and providing financial guidance and insights to senior executives. You will be part of the Group Supply Chain leadership team, where you will play a key role in adding the financial perspective to strategic initiatives and ensuring effective execution and cost management.
You will collaborate with other Business Controllers and senior stakeholders across the SKF Group to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial reporting and governance. In the Operations strategy domain, you will facilitate the execution of strategies, encompassing footprint initiatives and transformation projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Supply Chain (SC) financial plan, performance follow-up, and ensure alignment with business objectives and SC strategy.
- Be an active member of Group Supply Chain Leadership team
- Optimize SC investments and expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Establish and maintain SC financial policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with SKF Group standards and regulations.
- Support Operations strategy projects and initiatives with financial analysis and evaluation.
- Conduct footprint analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Oversee and coordinate transformation projects focused on enhancing business processes and overall performance.
We expect you to have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience working as a business controller in a Manufacturing company.If you have experience with multiple manufacturing companies and/or experience of international scope this will be seen as meritorious.
- Substantial background in FP&A, financial examination, business oversight, or comparable roles, highlighting the capability to achieve results in a complex and fluid context.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, coordinating among cross-functional or cross-regional teams, and effectively managing organizational differences and priorities.
- Experience from leading net working capital improvement initiatives, footprint or other large scale transformation projects is meritorious.
- Solid project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and complex global context.

Some additional info
You will report to Daniel Boglind, the Director of Controlling Group Operations and have a dotted line report to Rachel Rui, the Director Supply Chain and Operations Strategy – Group Operations, who both are located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The location for the position will be in Gothenburg, local contract.
