About the Role
We are strengthening SKF Automotive’s Compliance & Ethics function and are looking for a highly motivated Compliance & Ethics Officer to join our team. While you will have a particular responsibility for administering and managing the whistleblowing channel and leading and coordinating investigations, this is a broad and impactful role with significant opportunity to shape and influence all aspects of the company’s global Compliance & Ethics Program.
You will play a key role in the continuous development and implementation of the Compliance & Ethics Program.
In this role, you will get the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute directly to building a strong culture of ethics and compliance.
What you can expect in the role
- Administrate and manage the global whistleblowing channel, coordinate whistleblowing investigations, and train local investigators across the organization.
- Develop, manage, and support group-wide compliance risk assessments, including planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain policies, directives, and other governing documents within the Compliance & Ethics Program.
- Design and deliver e-learning and face-to-face training to strengthen awareness and competence across the group.
- Monitor, track, and report on the implementation of the Compliance & Ethics Program elements across the group.
- Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to the organization on compliance-related matters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of tools, processes, and methodologies within the Compliance & Ethics function, including exploring the possibility of making processes more efficient by automation and the use of digital/AI tools.

Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent legal background).
- Several years of broad compliance experience, preferably in a global manufacturing company or similarly complex international environment.
Skills and knowledge
- Strong understanding of key compliance areas such as anti-corruption, antitrust, export controls, sanctions, privacy, and human rights.
- Proven ability to develop policies, training materials, and compliance tools.
- Experience with risk assessments, managing whistleblowing channels, and conducting whistleblowing investigations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and engagingly.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks in a small, dynamic team.
- Proficiency in business English, including both written and verbal communication.

Some additional information
The position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Employment will be on a local contract, and therefore, you need to live in the region and be able to commute to our site several days per week. You will report to the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer, Lisa Ejelöv.
