Compliance Lead
Industrial Region Europe & Africa
This role will be key in upholding a solid and risk-based approach to ethics and compliance across the business area, by ensuring decision-making processes, business partner reviews and contracts effectively integrate compliance aspects. You will also oversee major compliance issues, handle whistleblower investigations, and train and advise senior stakeholders across the organization.
What you can expect in this role:
- Help build an infrastructure for assessing and managing risk across the business, based on existing policies and frameworks;
- Advise in important compliance matters and handle whistle-blower investigations;
- Follow geopolitics and educate business leaders about compliance aspects including anti-trust, international trade, anti-corruption & data privacy;
- Implement processes for assessing compliance in the context of business decisions and business partner reviews.
Main requirements:
- At least 7 years working experience from a reputable law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international industrial company.
- Experience of export control, anti-trust, anti-corruption and / or international trade laws and also commercial agreements.
- Ability to handle matters of international nature on your own.
- Willingness to handle responsibilities, identify areas of improvement and lead change.
- Integrity and ability to advice senior management, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Solid organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

This position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden. On local contract.
