Full-stack Developer – Gothenburg Factory


You will work in a small agile team delivering value to the shop floor every day while pushing the boundaries of digitalization in discrete manufacturing. Combined with an overview of infrastructure and data modelling, the scope focuses on DevOps tasks. You will collaborate with several different teams and roles, such as reliability engineers, project managers, maintenance technicians, operators, regional IT, Manufacturing Development Department and suppliers. 


Your key areas of responsibility

  • Develop and drive the industrial digital solutions, including:
  • Participate in the design and creation of scalable software solutions.
  • Build and maintain back-end services and databases.
  • Write clean, functional code for both client-side and server-side applications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Continuously improve the software deployment process and tools.
  • Understand Network Design and Setups.

 

As part of our team, you will also be involved in driving the overall strategy and roadmap for Manufacturing IT/OT Gothenburg. Your responsibilities: 

  • Taking joint ownership of Gothenburg Factory's end-to-end digitalization
  • Supporting production & investment projects
  • Providing training to engineers, maintenance teams, etc. to better support the day-by-day operations and any possible deviations

 

We expect you to have

  • A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Thorough understanding of DevOps
  • Experience with servers, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and databases.
  • Great communication skills in English is a prerequisite, Swedish is a must. 

 

Meriting experience:

  • OT/IT infrastructure engineering background for manufacturing operations, with an in-depth understanding of manufacturing process control networks.
  • Network layouts, switches, firewall configurations, develop front-end applications with appealing visual designs.
