Global Product Line Manager – Ball Bearings

As Global Product Line Manager – Ball Bearings, you will lead the global product lines within the Ball Bearing segment. You will be a part of the newly formed Commercial Excellence management team, which is devoted to bringing SKF to the next level commercially. 

Key responsibilities 

In this role, you will design the global strategy for the ball-bearing product line. In close collaboration with the industries, sales, and operations, you will make the product line competitive. Furthermore, you will:  

• Drive assortment management 
• Drive the global capacity planning and footprint, including make or buy decisions, to optimize and grow the product line profitability. 
• Drive the development of new products in cooperation with other areas of SKF. 
• Drive and secure that the product line has the desired benefits, features, and cost, enabling SKF to execute set sales strategies and financial expectations. 
• Major cost-down activities including KPI follow-up (growth, profitability, quality, etc.) 
• Conduct competitor’s benchmark and market analysis. 

We expect you to have 

• University degree in engineering degree, or equivalent work experience. 
• Experience in global project management. 
• Experience in global manufacturing operations. 
• Solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive transformational change. 
• Good IT and customer integration knowledge.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Some additional information 

This position is global, and the position holder can be based anywhere we have an SKF site. You will report to the SVP of Commercial Excellence Bearings.
