Head of Finance IT – SKF Automotive business
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance IT to guide the development, implementation, and management of our finance technology landscape. This role will oversee the integration and optimization of our ERP systems, accounting, controlling, tax, treasury, and consolidation processes to ensure alignment with our business plans and compliance requirements. You will partner with finance business leaders on strategic priorities and ensure that finance IT delivers clear business value.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT finance systems strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy.
- Lead a team of IT professionals and finance experts to ensure effective management of finance systems.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP, tax, and treasury systems to support finance operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system requirements and enhancements.
- Manage IT suppliers and their SLA's
- Ensure the finance systems support accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Implement best practices for financial controlling and reporting processes.
- Monitor, improve and deploy systems related to tax compliance and reporting, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee treasury management systems to optimize cash flow and financial risk management.
- Lead the development and management of treasury management systems to optimize cash flow and financial risk management.
- Supervise the consolidation process across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Implement and improve tools and processes to streamline consolidation and reporting.
We expect you to have/be:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIMA) preferred.
- Solid experience and strong knowledge in finance systems management, with a focus on ERP, tax, treasury, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of finance processes, including accounting, controlling, tax, treasury, and consolidation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with finance software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP; SAP BPC, Oracle) is highly desirable.

The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and reports to the SKF Automotive Head of Enterprise IT.
