Insurance Manager

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? SKF Reinsurance is looking for a passionate and skilled Insurance Manager to join our dynamic team. We manage global insurance programs for SKF, working with all SKF units on insurance and loss prevention. As part of our small team, you'll make a significant global impact.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Manage Global Insurance Programs: Manage and structure global insurance programs and handle the renewal, marketing and placement of insurance lines in collaboration with brokers and insurers. Provide support and guidance to business units on insurance-related matters. 
• Conduct Risk Surveys: Participate in on-site risk surveys, collect and analyse risk-related information, and manage our risk/insurance systems.
• Risk Development Activities: Support SKF units globally with risk awareness, risk mitigation, optimization of risk, and digital risk solutions.

Your profile

• Educational Background: An academic degree, preferably in law, finance, or a related field.
• Insurance Expertise:  Qualified hands-on experience in the corporate insurance segment and a strong understanding and knowledge of non-life insurance. A background and network within the insurance industry is also required. Experience with multinational insurance programs is meriting. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency with digital solutions and tools. A keen interest and skill in innovative digital solutions would be highly beneficial.

Additional information
You will be located at our SKF global HQ in Gothenburg. This position reports to the Managing Director at SKF Reinsurance.
