Manager Group Accounting & Reporting
Automotive Business
We’re seeking a senior finance professional who will establish our new Group Accounting & Reporting department within the SKF Automotive business. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with the business, contribute to strategic decisions, and work in a challenging, international environment.
As our Manager Group Accounting & Reporting, you’ll take on a unique opportunity to shape a new function and team, responsible for group consolidation, quarterly and annual reporting. You will also be working on the preparation of the requirements and standards of a Nasdaq Stockholm listing. Together with our CFO, your highly skilled team, and the full finance organization, you will develop processes and structures that support the evolving needs of the business.
Key responsibilities

Manage the process of creating group consolidated financial statements and external reports, which encompass quarterly and annual statements as well sustainability reports.

Develop and maintain group-wide accounting policies and reporting instructions.

Ensure compliance with external accounting standards and prepare for future listing requirements.

Empower, develop, and support a lean and skilled team within Group Accounting & Reporting.

Manage the parent company’s accounting and reporting.

Enhance competence development within the accounting and reporting area, in collaboration with the Finance Academy Lead.

Act as an expert and advisor in accounting matters and collaborate closely with auditors, IR, and other key stakeholders.

Represent Group Finance in strategic development projects.
Requirements

University degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

Solid experience in financial reporting and preparation of annual reports for a listed company, in either the role of Group accounting or from Auditing.

Deep understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements, including those relevant for listed companies.

Keen interest in and understanding of current and future finance processes, concepts, and systems.

Experienced leader, with the ability to support, inspire, and empower your team to thrive.

Fluent in English and in Swedish (verbal & written)

If you have experience in sustainability reporting, being part of preparing a company for public listing, and/or working at a manufacturing company, it’s a big plus.

The position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden, hired on a local contract. You will report to the future CFO in SKF Automotive.
