This breakthrough product has significant market potential. To meet growing customer demand and scale the offer, we are seeking an Industrialization Engineer to help transform our prototype solutions into robust, cost efficient, and manufacturable products.
Your Responsibilities
• Define and maintain design rules for the complete SKF Insight bearing solution, including fiber optic equipped bearings and associated optical equipment.
• Ensure design rules are correctly applied across relevant functions like PD&E and projects.
• Support customer inquiries by developing new solution concepts and securing alignment across the internal value chain.
• Collaborate closely with key suppliers and internal R&D teams to ensure new designs are manufacturable at scale.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives through improved manufacturing processes and optimized material choices.
• Automate design workflows to increase speed, consistency, and efficiency in creating new solutions.
• Produce clear, high-quality documentation such as proposal drawings, work instructions, process flows, quality requirements, and customer manuals.
What You Bring
• A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on design experience and proficiency with CAD tools (Creo preferred) and PLM systems (e.g. Windchill).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining and assembly.
• Comfort working in a fast moving, start up like environment.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions and international teams.

• Preferred location: any main SKF site in Europe under local contract, to enable close collaboration with the core team.
• Occasional international travel required.
