SAP Lead – GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE

 

Recently, we in Automotive could demonstrate how much more value there is to SKF and shareholders with focus & dedication. In believing there is even more potential, we are about to tackle some key enablers for improved profitability and customer experience by digitizing supply chains, sales processes, and project management.
 
For the automotive industry, which faces increasing competition, complexity, and regulation, an ERP system can be a strategic advantage that enables faster and smarter decision-making, better-quality control, and reduced costs and risks. Hence, to achieve greater efficiency, transparency, and agility, as well as improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, SKF Automotive needs to functions and processes from Sales to Production.
 
In this context, we are looking for a SAP Lead who will own the implementation and integration of SAP S/4HANA as the core ERP system for automotive. The SAP Lead will work closely with the business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of the project within the scope, budget, and timeline. The SAP Lead will also oversee the change management, training, and communication activities related to the ERP transformation.

 

We expect you to have/be

  • Build the SAP team for Automotive 
  • Establish and maintain effective governance and communication structures, and ensure compliance with SKF's policies and standards
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to define the business requirements, configure the system, test the solution, and manage the data migration and cutover activities
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on SAP best practices
  • Direct the end-to-end implementation and integration of SAP S/4HANA as the core ERP system for automotive, covering business functions and processes from Sales to Production
  • Define and conduct the change management, training, and communication plans to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of the new ERP system by the end-users
  • Provide post-go-live support and monitor the system performance, quality, and user feedback and trouble-shoot and resolve issues related to SAP system
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to optimize the ERP system functionality and efficiency as well as manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

 
We are looking for people who have:

  • A can-do, hands-on, dynamic personality that promotes a positive culture and teamwork within international and multicultural teams
  • Leadership competencies & ability to develop IT strategies 
  • The ability to communicate timely and effectively
  • A high motivation for developing great user experiences in a global environment
  • Willingness to travel, if needed, for specific activities
  • About 3-5 years of experience with SAP as well as respective design & deployment projects
  • Communication, facilitation, and collaboration are your strength - you feel comfortable coordinating independently the collaboration of larger senior stakeholder groups and project teams
  • A self-driven, independent, efficient and responsible working style
  • Good negotiation and presentation skills on all levels in a large organization
  • Knowledge and experience in project management, process modeling, data modeling and systems analysis

 
Nice if you have

  • SAP certifications
  • Experience in one of the following functional domains: Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering or Customer Project management
  • Leading teams

Additional information
The position holder will be based in one of the major Automotive locations or remote (preferred Europe). As most of the programs will have an EMEA focus, time zone implications are to be acknowledged. 

 

The role is reporting to Automotive Global Digitalization & Process, PMO and Quality Director.
