Shape the future Treasury organization of a new global automotive company

Are you motivated to build something new? Do you want to contribute and shape the Treasury function of a standalone, global automotive company at a pivotal moment in its journey? Then you could be our next Senior Cash Manager within SKF Automotive.

SKF has initiated the separation of its Automotive business to form an independent, leading global company. This creates a rare opportunity: to design modern, resilient, and digitalized cash management structures from the ground up, while shaping how our Treasury operating model will function for years to come.

In this role, you will be part of a lean, expert team dedicated to harmonization, simplification, and automation across our global finance processes, ensuring that liquidity management becomes a competitive advantage for SKF Automotive.

What you can expect in the role


Strategic & Transformational Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and future-proof cash management structures across our global footprint.
  • Implement digitalization and automation of end-to-end Treasury processes.
  • Support the Treasury operating model blueprint.


Operational & Expert Responsibilities:

  • Global responsibility for the cash management infrastructure
  • Ensure cash management infrastructure is maintained and documented
  • Oversee bank documentation and liaise with banking partners.
  • Facilitate seamless payment connectivity and bank integrations.
  • Support Treasury system enhancements.
  • Conduct RFQs and support vendor evaluations.


Partnering & Global Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Finance Operations Centers, IT, and process owners.
  • Act as a thematic expert to the business.


You will enjoy working here if you have 

  • Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in Treasury and cash management, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of bank infrastructures and regulatory environments.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage process changes.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in transformational/build-up environments.
  • Experience in Treasury process design or system implementation.

Some additional information
The position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Employment will be on a local contract, and therefore, you need to live in the region and be able to commute to our site several times per week.

You will report to Daniel Aspenberg, Head of Treasury, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
