About this particular Summer Job offer:
Customs department at SKF Logistics Sweden is responsible for all customs processes for SKF Sweden. This includes customs clearance, activities around preferential origin, customs value, maintenance of our licences and authorisations etc.
As a Summer Customs Coordinator in SKF Sweden, you will handle customs activities for SKF Sweden but will be a part of a Europe & Africa Customs team. Your activities will be local, but your playfield is global.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, logistics hubs and external transport providers, acting as an important link in the end‑to‑end logistics chain.
Your main responsibilities:
- Import clearance
- Coordination of deliveries
- Handling of customs invoices
- Self-assessment– as a part of the internal control
We believe you will succeed in this role if you are service‑minded, structured and enjoy coordinating several tasks at the same time.
We expect you to
- Be currently enrolled in university studies within customs, logistics, supply chain or a related field, and continue your studies after the summer period
- Be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Have some experience or strong interest in customs legislation
- Have very good communication skills and a professional approach
- Be proactive, driven and solution‑oriented
- Work in an analytical, structured and process‑oriented way
- Have very good skills in Microsoft Office
