Tax Accountant – Record to Report
SKF has established Finance Operation centers supporting all SKF units globally. We have an exciting future ahead of us with a clear finance strategy roadmap. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient, and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of next-generation Business Finance.
The Finance Function at SKF in Sweden includes Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Financial Controlling. We are now looking for a Tax Accountant to join our Record to Report team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute accounting activities with high quality
- Responsible for VAT, Intrastat and Transfer pricing reporting for many of SKF companies and for countries where SKF is VAT registered
- Secure proper VAT returns, duty rate, and support business with VAT questions
- Secure proper payments and accounting of taxes
- Main contact towards authorities and outsourced partners
- Drive and coordinate reporting improvements and use SKF Business Excellence as the tool to reach our future goals
- Ensure compliance from a legal and corporate governance perspective
- Monitor and conduct the GL account reconciliations
Requirements
- University degree in finance/accounting or similar
- Be an experienced Tax Accountant
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
- Finance process oriented and broad experience in SAP or other ERP systems
- Computer literacy and experience in MS office applications (especially in Excel)
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment

You will report to the Delivery Manager - Record to Report, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
