SKF Finance is currently going through an exciting transformation with a clear Finance strategy roadmap. Finance will have an influential role related to a lean, efficient, and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of the next generation Business Finance. SKF Group Treasury plays an important role in the transformation with the aim to be a strategic business partner and drive efficiencies in the Treasury processes with the help of new digital opportunities. 

 

We are now looking for a student (part-time worker) who can support during vacation periods, and during the rest of the year when needed. As a Treasury Analyst within Group Treasury, you will be supporting a professional Treasury team with the overall responsibility of all financial risk management, including currency, funding, capital structure and post-employment asset and liability management. Treasury also have the responsibility to safeguard efficient and safe processes related to payments and cash management across the SKF Group.  
 
As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing various back-office tasks related to financial transactions, intercompany netting, bank payments, and regulatory reporting. Your attention to detail and financial acumen will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal bank and settlements. As a student, you will get the possibility to come up with ideas and try new approaches, having the opportunity to contribute to the development of the department. You will get to know what it’s like working in treasury at the same time as gaining working experience for the future.

 

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to 

  • Match and settle financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of intercompany and external bank accounts. 
  • Verify and reconcile external financial deals with internal records. 
  • Execute bank payments timely, accurately and in accordance with established protocols. 
  • Ensure that account information is up to date in the treasury management system. 
  • Actively participate in the development and enhancement of treasury processes and procedures. 

 
Your profile 

  • A second-year student in finance or data science/engineering with an interest in finance. 
  • Fluent in Swedish and English with excellent communication skills. 
  • Flexible, mature, and detail-oriented with ability to handle responsibilities with precision.
  • A strong team player but also capable of independent thinking.
  • Hands-on and proactive, enjoying involvement in daily operations.

Additional information 
The position holder will be located at SKF HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden and report to Head of Treasury Operations.
