JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:           Assistant Manager  -Marketing Communications

Role Type:         Individual Contributor                 

Location:             Gurgaon / Pune

 

Role Summary:

Industrial Market is one of the core businesses SKF India with a network of wide customers & to drive Industrial Market BU objectives, Marcom plays an important role in fostering customer relationship and build brand affinity & loyalty.

Therefore, IM Marcom Lead will play pivotal role in driving marketing strategies that directly contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

 

Purpose of the role:

This role involves end-to-end management of Marcom for all the business segments of Industrial Market BU to generate demand, enhance customer engagement and build brand visibility through various marketing activities such as Market Activations, New Product Launch communication, Retail Branding and more. Also, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams viz business, sales, product & application teams to identify key customer insights and advise marketing plans accordingly.

 

Responsibilities

Salient KRAs:

  1. Marketing communication strategy implementation
    1. Support in creating Integrated Marketing AOP for Industrial Market BU
    2. Plan & implement segment-wise (eg : Wind & Defence/Heavy Industries & more) marcom plan straddling on ATL/BTL/TTL
    3. Collaborate with business & communication teams for internal & external communication of customer centric initiatives/wins
  2. Event Management:
    1. Plan, organize & execute customer, trade & internal events viz conferences, lunch & learn, kick-offs, trade exhibitions & more
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including logistics, content creation & post-event analysis.
  3. Creative & Marcom material:
    1. Develop comprehensive marketing communication launch plan aligning with launch objectives for new product launches, including sales presentations, product collaterals/tools & promotional campaigns.
    2. Lead the development of marcom tools as per business requirements viz brochures, price-sheet, demo videos/tutorials & more, to equip sales team with effective pitch tools.
    3. Collaborate with internal teams – application & sales to ensure correct & impactful collateral materials/tools

4) Retail Branding:

    1. Develop and deploy POS materials viz standees, posters, signage & more and also ensure consistency & adherence to brand guidelines.
    2. Collaborate with sales team & IPS partners to ensure proper placement and visibility of POS materials within their outlets.

5) Vendor Management:

    1. Liaison with different vendors/agencies for various marketing activities.
    2. Monitor performance & ensure timely & quality delivery of services within budget.
    3. Supervise PO/Payment process adherence.

 

6) MIS & Reporting

    1. Monthly reports
    2. Campaign tracking & performance reports.

Candidate Profile (Education, Experience & Competencies)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Min 5 years of experience in marketing or related roles preferably within the B2B sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal & external teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software wrt creative & designing, will be added advantage.
  • Willing to travel as per business need.
