  1. Purpose of Position:

Evolve business strategies relevant to his/her market and implement marketing and pricing strategies,

to ensure profitable growth of the business with effective customer relationship management 

 

  1. Key responsibilities:

 

  1. To lead manage and further develop the Sales Pan India.
  2. New business development with Pvt. OEM / Key Accounts.
  3. Manage the department providing budgets, forecasts and monthly reports.
  4. Manage the staff within the Unit for day to day matters.
  5. Build and deliver the India sales and marketing strategy and activities.
  6. To ensure that the overall unit competences meet SKF customers' existing and future needs and that the unit's resources are used in the most effective and efficient way
  7. Negotiate commercial contracts internally and externally.
  8. To drive the team to build strong, long term customer relationships and to fully understand the customers' needs with a machine full life cycles approach.
  9. To ensure that all opportunities are identified, properly classified and worked upon
  10. To initiate, drive and participate in events with customers, such as customer days, seminars, trade shows etc and to demonstrate SKF's capabilities
  11. To assure customer satisfaction in terms of engineering support through quality, speed, responsiveness and innovation
  12. To develop and maintain a wide international network with the global Railway.
  13. To assure the Team knowledge is developed, documented and spread among the community.
  14. Ensure profitable growth for the Railway Unit in India. Manage customer accounts and contractual obligations.
  15. Secure excellent delivery performance to customers.

 

  1. Profile of the jobholder:
  1. Capacity to relate to all levels with customers and strong negotiating skills.
  2. Experience of business development process in B2B.
  3. Flexible and innovative approach in order to run the business.
  4. Strategic thinker combined with hands on mentality.
  5. Decision maker.
  6. Strong leadership style with managerial experience.
  7. Financial knowledge & abilities.
  8. Good understanding of the overall business and familiar with the service business.
  9. Excellent experience and proven track record in Sales Management
  10. Ability to interact with customers on all levels.
  11. Excellent business understanding and good negotiating skills
  12. Minimum 5 years managerial experience, with commercial and/or technical base
  13. Good leadership skills, proven record in People Management
  14. Good influencing skills and an ability to challenge.
  15. Willingness to travel
