JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title:           Deputy Manager-People Business Enabler

Reports To:                Factory Manager

Type:                           Individual Contributor

Location:                    Haridwar (Factory)

 

 

Purpose of the role:

 

As a HR Partner for businesses, provide support and leadership to drive the people strategy and ensure seamlessness and

consistent employee experience on people processes and foster positive cultural change.

Responsibilities

 

Talent and Leadership

  • Partner with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to allocated HC and ensure timely hiring against vacancies
  • Critically evaluate external talent to ensure right hire – cultural evaluation and potential evaluation
  • Strong succession pipeline for N-3/4 leadership positions
  • Develop and deploy the competency framework for creating a future ready workforce
  • Support Talent development by focusing on Organizational capability, Individual needs and core competence

 

Extraordinary Performance & Reward

 

  • Ensure effective deployment of end to end People Processes including Performance Management, Reward &

Recognition, Org design, span & layers

 

Culture and workplace

  • Work towards creating a ‘Best place to work’
  • Drive customer centric approach with innovation
  • Drive various diversity and inclusion initiatives and develop infrastructure for inclusive workplace
  • Monitor and report employee pulse through regular engagement with employees

  • Identify training and development needs of employees and collaborate with relevant teams to provide training programs.
  • Encourage skill development, career growth, and succession planning within the manufacturing workforce.

 

Employee Relations

 

  • Drive key Change initiatives in the factory to ensure engagement, development as well as productivity improvement.
  • Foster and nurture a smooth Industrial relations climate by working closely with the Union / Shop floor team in ensuring right behaviors/ discipline.
  • Knowledge on Factory & Labour Laws and exposure to LTS settlement, managing HR Strategic role.
  • Promoting an orderly but friendly work environment to increase the productivity of the employees.
  • Handling / dealing with employee complaints, grievances and resolve it timely/ proactively and ensuring healthy work relationships and a supportive atmosphere at the workplace

 

HR Analytics and Technology

 

  • Support leadership with appropriate strategic and operational reporting on various people metrics in a timely manner
  • Act as a builder, creating reports and dashboards that match to customer requirements
  • Orientation on various HR technology platforms, Digitalization, etc.

Education & Experience

  • Post-Graduation in Human Resource Management
  • 5-9 years of experience in HR role with a good brand.
  • Industry - Manufacturing /Engineering firms, Auto components, OEMs
