All-round (Sr) CNC Technician - Houten, The Netherlands

The All-round (Sr) CNC Technician is a key player in our Sample & Prototype shop.

Together with other Researchers and Engineers from multiple competencies (such as Steels, Ceramics, Polymers, Tribology, Lubrication, Coatings and Seals), you will be working on challenging projects and contribute to the quality of our products. It is a highly collaborative role, where you will enjoy cross-competence area networking, contribute to research, improve and produce our prototypes and parts for our testing machines.

Key responsibilities

•           Programming / operator CNC machines (lathe and milling).

•           Setting up conventional machines for metal processing.

•           Production of prototypes and machine parts with a diverse set of materials.

Requirements

•           •           MBO degree in lathe and milling/ machinist / technician or in a related field with more than 5 years of relevant working experience

•           Experience with both CNC and (conventional) machines (lathe and milling)

•           Experience with programming (e.g. Edgecam / Heidenhain / Fanuc)

•           Strong communication skills

•           English at a conversational level (must)

•           Speaking Dutch (strong plus)

•           Hands-on mentality, curious, pro-active

The base salary range for this position is €3000-€5400 (based on relevant skillset and working experience).

Additional information

This position will be located in Houten, the Netherlands, on a local contract. 

You will report to the Experimental & Verification Team Leader.

Binnen de unit Research and Technology Development zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste CNC Verspaner.

In onze Sample & Prototype shop in Houten, komt de wereld letterlijk bij elkaar!

In diverse projectteams werk je nauw samen met Researchers en Engineers van diverse competenties, zoals Steels, Ceramics, Polymers, Tribology, Lubrication, Coatings en Seals.   

Je levert een bijdrage aan het onderzoeken, verbeteren en produceren van onze prototypes en onderdelen voor verschillende test machines.

Verantwoordelijkheden en taken

•           •           Zelfstandig voorbereiden, programmeren en instellen van de CNC machine

            (draai-frees bank). 

•           Zelfstandig kunnen draaien en frezen op conventionele machines.

•           •           Het vervaardigen van proefstukken en machinedelen uit diverse materialen (fijnmechanisch proces).

Vereisten

•           Minimaal een afgeronde MBO opleiding richting Verspanen/ Werktuigbouwkunde, aangevuld met minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring;  

•           Enige jaren ervaring met conventionele machines.

•           Enkele jaren ervaring als zelfstandig CNC Draaier / Frezer.

•           Zelfstandig programmeren in bijvoorbeeld: Edgecam of Heidenhain, Fanuc.

•           •           Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in de Nederlands en Engelse taal (in woord en schrift).   

•           Hands-on mentaliteit, leergierig en pro-actief.  

Het basissalaris voor deze functie is € 3000- € 5400 (op basis van relevante vaardigheden en werkervaring).
