SKF Lubrication Systems Benelux range from selling specialized lubricants to state-of-the-art lubrication delivery systems. Integrated SKF lubrication systems combine our expertise in bearings, seals and condition monitoring with our tribology knowledge – the study of friction, wear and lubrication. To strengthen our team at SKF Lubrication Systems Benelux (27 employees) we are looking for an:

 

Application Engineer Lubrication Systems

Location: Houten (NL) or Diegem (BE)

In this position you will manage relationships with direct customers and authorized distributors, including responding to basic technical enquiries, handling technical complaints and managing technical risks.

Key responsibilities

• To identify and analyze technical details of customer's requirements and to communicate these clearly and accurate to both the customer and the SKF organization.
• To support application reviews on machines and equipment.
• To work closely with the sales organization and contribute to opportunity generation.
• To be responsible for customer relationship management at the engineering level.
• To work with various departments such as customer service, sales and manufacturing, to ensure that client specifications are met.
• To participate in the execution of Root Cause Analysis of the customers' application.
• To support internal and external technical trainings.
• To represent SKF and its products and services at customers and institutions through visits, presentations, seminars and fairs.
• To act as a project leader in assigned technical projects.
• To develop products and value added solutions for the local market in close corporation with both local and global manufacturing.

Job Requirements

•  
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5 years of experience in industry.
• Knowledge of lubrication or hydraulic systems is an advantage.
• English & Dutch language oral and written.
• You are a team player with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality who thinks in solutions.
