The Digital Service Manager for End User Devices is accountable for the specification, delivery, management, and performance of end user devices within the organization. If you’re someone who thrives on making technology work smarter for people, this is your opportunity to ensure that devices are effectively utilized to enhance productivity, communication, and collaboration across the organization.
What you can expect in the role
- Ownership & Accountability: Centrally specify, monitor, secure, and maintain all end user devices (endpoints) that connect to the network and access its data, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and compliant with IT policies. This includes desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets used in both enterprise and industrial environments.
- Implementation and Management: Oversee device provisioning and inventory, patch and software management, application deployment, remote monitoring and management, security policy enforcement, and compliance adherence across all connected devices.
- User Training and Support: Ensure secure training and adequate support possibilities exist for users, providing ongoing assistance to enable standardization and effective utilization of end user devices.
- Stakeholder and Outsourced Service Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and ensure high-quality service delivery. Manage relationships with outsourced service providers to align with business objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budget for end user devices, ensuring cost-effective management and optimal allocation of resources.
In summary, you will manage the domain and drive the development of this area, taking full ownership of its operational responsibilities. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering results and ensuring progress within the domain. While you will lead and coordinate work across teams, the position does not include direct personnel management or team development responsibilities.
You will enjoy working here if you have
- Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in digital workplaces, effectively overseeing end user devices on a global scale.
- Demonstrable experience in ensuring meeting security standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO27001, GDPR/PIPL, SOC2, and NIST.
- Proficiency in managing relationships with outsourced service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Ability to respond effectively to technological developments and innovative practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, active involvement.
- Proficient English language skills both in spoken and in writing.

Some additional information
This position can be located at any SKF site globally. Preferred locations are India and within EMEA, where the position will be offered with a local contract. You will report to Gerard Schram, Services and Service Management Lead, who is located in Houten, the Netherlands.
