The SKF Business Unit MPT (Maintenance Products, Power Transmission and Lubrication Tools) is responsible to develop, manage and promote a unique portfolio of products and solutions to support the bearing life cycle (from mounting, through lubrication, alignment, basic condition monitoring, to dismounting), in order to enhance the rotating equipment performance at the customers, leveraging as complementary offer to SKF bearings.

Spare Parts Management & Quality Analysis

 

Job description
This internship will provide hands-on experience in managing spare parts inventory, analysing part usability, and supporting procurement activities, contributing to the efficient operation of the MPT Service Centre.

 

•    Inventory Management.
Help manage spare parts inventory. 
Organize and track stock levels to ensure accurate inventory records.

 

•    Spare Parts Analysis.
Conduct detailed inspections of spare parts to assess their condition.
Identify and categorize parts as usable, repairable, or unusable.
Document findings and create reports on the status of spare parts.

•    Procurement Support.

Assist in generating purchasing lists for spare parts based on inventory needs. Coordinate with Customer Service team to facilitate ordering.

 

•    Data Analysis and Reporting, Process Improvement.
Analyse inventory data to identify trends and forecast future needs. 
Prepare detailed reports on spare parts usage, inventory levels. 
Present findings/recommendations to management to improve spare parts processes. 
Suggest and implement best practices for a better organization and tracking of spare parts.

 

•    Assist with Service Center Activities.
Repair of products.
Logistics of the repaired products worldwide.

 

Job requirements:
•    MBO 3 or 4 (technical) education.
•    Internship is for minimum 3 months
•    Electrical and/ hydraulic knowledge is a plus.
•    Master the Dutch and English language, both oral and written.
•    (Basic) knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet.
•    Organizing skills.
