Account Manager 
@ Lubrication Lifetime Solutions

 

SKF Lubrication Lifetime Solutions are technologies and services designed to automatically deliver the right amount of lubricant to machine components—like bearings, chains, or gears—at the right time.

In this role you will be the key link between our advanced technical solutions and our customers’ operational needs. You will manage accounts (direct customers and distributors), develop new business opportunities, and represent SKF at industry events and trade fairs in the Turkish market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and customer development plans.
  • Prepare and present Monthly Management Reports (MMRs).
  • Generate and manage leads and opportunities, ensuring consistent follow-up and nurturing.
  • Represent SKF at national and international trade fairs and exhibitions.
  • Provide technical training and hands-on demonstrations of lubrication and maintenance products.
  • Perform customer/competitor mappings.
  • Conduct lubrication assessments and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot customer applications and collaborate with Application Engineers for complex issues.Utilize SKF’s digital tools and technologies to support sales and customer engagement.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent long-term experience in a relevant technical field
  • Some years of experience in a technical sales role.
  • Solid commercial and mechanical/technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficient in sales planning, funnel management, and customer relationship management.
  • Hydraulics knowledge, Knowledge of lubrication methods and practices is beneficial.
  • Good ability to interacts with others and build proficient business relationships
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Fluent in Turkey and English both written and spoken;

Some additional information

This position will be located in Istanbul, Turkey, on local contract.
