Regional Account Manager – Distributors

SKF is globally known in the industrial bearing sector for its innovation, quality, and long-standing commitment to supporting essential industries. We are now looking for a Distribution Development Account Manager to build our partnerships and drive growth through our distributor network.
This is not a standard sales role. As we continue developing our distribution business in Türkiye, we are looking for someone who wants to step up, grow quickly, and deliver results from day one—while contributing to our Transform + Perform journey.
In this role, you will be key in expanding SKF’s distribution business across a defined region in Türkiye. You will build trust-based relationships with key distributors and work closely with them to identify opportunities and drive sustainable, profitable growth across both products and services. You will also support the ongoing development of our business and ways of working.
What you will do in this role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of distributor accounts
- Build and execute solid Distribution Development (DD) account plans
- Lead cross-functional SKF and distributor teams within each account
- Execute sales plans and deliver results vs targets
- Develop a robust pipeline of qualified new opportunities
- Enhance distributor capabilities and improve performance over time
What we are looking for
- A proactive mindset with a high level of self-motivation, ownership, and the ability to deliver results
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, application engineering, or a similar role
- Experience or a solid understanding of B2B sales, account management, or channel development
- A highly commercially driven profile, with a strong focus on business development and customer value creation. You may come from a sales background with an interest in learning our technical solutions, or from an engineering background with a clear commercial mindset and motivation to drive business growth
- Strong ability to build relationships and effectively engage and influence customers and partners
- A structured, curious, and solution-oriented way of working
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Turkish and English
- Willingness to travel across Türkiye
Experience from distributor-led business models is considered an advantage—but mindset and motivation matter most.
