People Business Enabler & PX Lead Mekan 
Factory Mekan/Katrineholm
(HR Business Partner)

 

We are looking for a motivated, resourceful and inclusive People Business Enabler (HR Business Partner) for our factory in Mekan/Katrineholm with some 330 employees including both white & blue collars. The factory is going through a transformation journey where people experience plays essential role.

 

Your role is to further enable people to develop according to SKF leadership expectations (develop yourself, others and business) and SKF values (Collaboration, Curiosity, Courage and Care). Your way of working will continuously develop and bring value to the organization you support. Furthermore, it will bring value and enhance the factory business results.

 

In this role, you will be part of both the local management team within the factory and the People Business Enablers team in Industrial Region EMEA. Additionally, there is a plan for this position to include another smaller site within its scope, following our strategy on cross-site interaction.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the SKF Purpose; Values and Leadership Expectations are high on the agenda for managers and employees.
  • Initiate activities to boost engagement and cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Strive for a diverse workforce with an inclusive culture.
  • Enable people and managers to develop according to the factory transformation plans.
  • Improve ways of working including organizational efficiency with a full value chain approach.
  • Represent the employer in negotiations with local unions.
  • Apply and ensure we follow rules and policies.
  • Execute employee engagement processes and attentively address challenges in a frequently changing and demanding environment.
  • Handle disciplinary issues with professionalism, emotional stability, and a solid value base.
  • Collaborate on both strategic initiatives and operational problem-solving, ensuring alignment with leadership agendas while managing day-to-day HR/PX matters.

 

We expect you to have:

  • University degree within HR or equivalent education
  • Previous experience from working in business oriented roles within the field of people experience or equivalent, preferably in a manufacturing company
  • Previous  experience and  good understanding of Swedish labor law and union interaction & negotiation is beneficial
  • A genuine understanding of how to support and enable the business and its leaders to deliver the SKF strategy.
  • Understanding of the digitalization journey to enable the transformation toward a new and more digitized way of working.
  • Capacity to take action with a focus on enhancing the practices and experiences of all employees within the organization
  • Demonstrated a commitment to ownership and a forward-thinking approach, which supports sound decision-making.
  • Deep local knowledge to effectively engage with employees and the community.

Additional information  

Location: Katrineholm, Sweden. You will report to Rositsa Vukadinova, PBE Lead Manufacturing and Logistics and PBE Lead Gothenburg factory, with a dotted line to Erik Hemberg, Managing Director & Factory Manager Mekan.
