Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

We’re a fast growing manufacturing business committed to innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement. Our production environment is powered by Conventional and CNC machinery— and we’re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician who can keep everything running efficiently.
Electrical Maintenance Technician
Your main responsibility will be, but not limited to, maintaining, repairing, and improving machinery across our manufacturing site. This is a hands on role where you’ll work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure our equipment operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment and machinery
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce production downtime
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement safe, long lasting solutions
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, production staff, and external contractors
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
• NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Machine Tool environment
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to safety and quality
• Experience with CMMS
• 18th Edition Regs
• FLT / MEWP trained (advantageous)
• Understanding of 5S and TPM practices (advantageous)
What We Offer:
• Salary Range: Up to £45,376.20 dependant on qualifications and experience
• Additional shift premiums
• 37.5 hour week (paid breaks)
• Company pension 10% employer contribution
• 25 days holiday plus bank holiday (increases to 28 with length of service)
