JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:          Key Account Manager – OE Spares

Reports To:       Manager – Institutional Sales

Role Type:        Individual Contributor

Job Location:    Pune / Bangalore / Gurgaon / Kolkata / Mumbai

 

  1. Purpose:

Drive sustained profitable growth in the assigned key account/accounts, aligned with organizational strategy to ensure long-term success.      

 

  1. Responsibilities:

 

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering trust.

 

Understanding Client Needs: Develop a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions.

 

Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify and grow opportunities within the assigned OEs, collaborate with sales teams to achieve growth targets, and negotiate contracts to maximize profits.

 

Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the company and key accounts, communicating progress and updates to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Problem Resolution: Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining trust.

 

  1. Metrics:

 

Experience: Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

 

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

 

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.

 

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
